Mimoza Kaçi is a senior financial sector regulatory and supervisory expert with extensive experience across insurance, capital markets, and private pensions. She served for a decade as a Board Member of the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority, alongside successive leadership roles as Deputy Executive Director and later General Executive Director until December 2025.
She has contributed to international policy dialogue as a speaker at high-level conferences and is the author of several research papers and publications in the field of finance.
Throughout her career, she has led strategic initiatives to modernize supervisory practices and strengthen Albania’s non-banking financial sector and regulatory framework.
Ms. Kaçi graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business and holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Tirana. She is the former Negotiator for Chapter 9 – Financial Services in Albania’s EU accession process, where she supported regulatory convergence with EU standards and Albania’s European integration agenda.
