Paula Kant is Head of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, the department of the Hong Kong government responsible for attracting and retaining Foreign Investment into HK. At InvestHK Brussels we help fintech companies – startups, SMEs, and multinationals – from 13 European countries set up in Hong Kong, often using HK as a gateway to China and the rest of Asia. We provide information about the developments in different sectors, cost models, regulations, etc. and make business contacts for client companies.
Prior to joining InvestHK, Paula was CEO of a market research company in Singapore, and had management roles in a medical devices company, energy company, and chemical MNC. Work has taken her from New Zealand, to Libya, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, Spain and the Netherlands.
