Liana Stanca is an Associate Professor at Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, in the Department of Business Information Systems. Her research focuses on digital transformation, FinTech, and AI in financial services. She is involved in the MSCA Digital Finance Pathway and the COST Action FinAI, where she contributes to advancing financial education, digital inclusion, and data-driven innovation. With a PhD in Economic Informatics and dual degrees in Mathematics & Computer Science and European Studies, she bridges technical and regulatory perspectives. Liana actively promotes collaboration between academia and industry and supports young researchers and women in tech.
